MarBrisa Carlsbad Resort

Stayed for a quick one night getaway. The good….The property is beautiful. The room was nice and very clean. The pillows on the bed were fantastic! The staff was amazing! The bad….The bed was not very comfortable. One side had a big sag/hole in it and the frame made noise every time I moved. The walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors like they were in our room and they were not being loud, just regular talking. Parking was kinda a problem, we had to park 4 buildings away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Can’t beat the price. We will come back again. Hopefully we will get a better bed this time.

Mar Brisa’s resort in Carlsbad is a great place to stay for couples or families. It’s walking distance to Lego Land, less than 5 minutes to great beaches, plenty of great restaurants close by and a great “chill” atmosphere in the city! We love coming here and will be sure to come back for years to come.

The MarBrisa Carlsbad HGV was a perfect stop for a long weekend getaway. We stayed in the one bedroom suite. The unit was large. The bathroom was much larger than we were expecting. Washer and dryer in the unit. The couch was a little creaky, but still comfortable. The pool area was big with lots of seating options. The property overall was large. We were thankful to have stayed in the building next to the main lobby. This made getting our daily water bottles much easier. They also had popcorn in the lobby every day 3-5pm. There was a special entrance to LegoLand from this hotel. The staff were all very nice. This next part will only apply to timeshare owners: The only part that frustrated me was the amount of times they kept asking for us to go to an owner's update meeting for our times

The property and rooms are very nice. Very communicative staff and informative signs throughout the rooms and property. One sign ask that guest be mindful of their neighbors below them, specifically between 10pm and 7am. Our experience since arriving while in our room on the 2nd level has been miserable. There is a family on the 3rd floor above who are non-stop running and pounding on the floor at all hours (mornings and nights). The property gave them a courtesy call but it did nothing. We are not enjoying our trip in the room and we are here a whole week. After being out all day and coming back in the evenings it’s extremely frustrating and stressful to hear that until after the 10pm hour. No large group that includes children should be on higher level floors. Although it’s a great locat

We had a nice stay-cation when my husband's brother came out from CT. The only complaint, where's the coffee shop with a bit of food in the morning!! There is coffee and tea in the room! Great location if you are going to Legoland. The properties are adjacent. The pool area and exercise room were outstanding. The location is near old Carlsbad with a lot of food options (go to Pappagallio).
