MainStay Suites at PGA Village

Don't stay! If you like nice clean hotels....Don't stay! Room was infested with roaches! Room was infested with roaches. I reserved 3 nights on 2 separate stays over a long weekend. Never stayed 1 night. They canceled 1 night of 3 and are attempting to steal the remainder of my $$$. Called many, many times to discuss my issues with management and still to this day havent received a call. Has been over a weeks time with almost a dozen calls made between hotel, managment hotline and Choice Hotels. No help to no avail. Independently owned I'm told by Choice! Gave them plenty of time for a call and resolve, now my bank will handle the charges. Great area, worst hotel I've stayed in since old Red roof motel days 25 years ago on the road as a contractor. Room was infested with roaches.

Do not believe many of the reviews you might have seen-this place is worth it. Friendly staff, a very clean room and washroom(it could use a bit of updating IMO). Very quiet too.Internet worked great as well. The breakfast will fill you up , but very few options if you require high protein or lower salt/sugar options. Will be back on my next spring -training tour.

When I made the reservation, it was for 3 adults. We had a queen bed room with a pullout sofa. When we checked in, there was no additional bedding for the sofa bed. When I went to the front desk to request bedding, he said they don't leave it in the rooms. He gave me a blanket/comforter. When I asked for a sheet to put down on the bed he said they didn't have any and gave me a SHOWER CURTAIN! He also said there were no pillows available. What an uncomfortable and ridiculous situation.

Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Not Worth the Risk I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. We entered our room and left in under 15 minutes due to the extreme lack of cleanliness. The room had a strong mildew smell, and the shower walls were covered in black mold that appeared barely cleaned. The bedding was dirty and stained, making it unusable. The room was infested with cockroaches, including visible roach trails inside the dishwasher. The kitchen cabinet had severe water damage, to the point where the door would not close. The overall condition of the room felt damp, neglected, and unhygienic. Although “No Smoking” signs are posted throughout the property, the hallways were filled with the smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The rules are clearly not enforced
