DON’T BOOK. IT’S A SCAM. Believe all the negative reviews. We didn’t read the reviews until after we had booked and paid on hotels.com. Upon booking and paying, we received a confirmation email stating that check-in was 5pm - 12 am. When we arrived to the hotel at 8pm, there were two cars in the parking lot. No one was at the desk to check us in until 9pm. Additionally, no one answered our phone calls during this hour. When someone finally arrived, he rudely told us that he’d cancelled our reservation and given our room away to someone else because we had not arrived by 6pm. (Remember, there were only two cars in the parking lot, so this was a blatant lie.) Zero stars!! The family lives at the hotel and their kids were behind the desk with her while she was trying to check us in with their toys in the lobby. We got to our room and the fire alarm was beeping. They sent their son in and he pulled it off the wall and set it on top of our TV and told us that hooking it up to the wall is the “back-up” Last I checked the batteries are supposed to be the back up. In the morning when I was getting out of the shower I saw a huge cockroach and screamed!! We packed up all our things and got out of there!! I tried to tell them at the front desk but there was nobody there, and nobody ever came. I left a note with my email address and they never sent me any messages. I contacted Expedia and they tried to get us our money back but the lux hotel refused the

Lipstick on a pig. Shiny, flashy exterior and over-the-top kitschy decor in lobby and corridors. Room was a mess. No smoke detector. Sprinkler painted over. Dirty washcloth hanging on shower curtain, which was insufficient to keep bathroom floor from flooding. Tub clogged so I was standing in the filth backing up from the drain while taking a shower. Many of the fixture, judging by their condition, appeared to be second hand. Requested a king but they only had two queens, despite virtually no other guests in the hotel. Was charged several dollars more than Hotels.com said I would be charged.||There were, inexplicably, four bottles of conditioner in the room but no soap. The “towel” was the size of a dish rag. Cigarette burns on tub. Janky light switch in the bathroom. Paint was sloppy, and

Prior reviews indicated “exceptional” but they forgot to put terrible at the end! The ONLY thing good was somewhat clean carpet. They claim breakfast is included, but it’s not. Was told it is due to remodeling. The first floor hallway smelled like a college dorm with the innate stench of skunk weed. Plus, screeching kids in the hallway. The beds were as hard as they get. Train tracks less than a quarter mile away and sounds like it’s coming through the wall. TV channels are mediocre at best and blurry. No 24hr desk service…so don’t plan on arriving after midnight. They charged $6.50 for some stupid fee but since it was after 10:00pm and driving 7hrs…I was just wanting to crash out. I will never stay here again.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and the front desk and lobby was very clean and well decorated and nice. After that things did not look as nice. The room was clean but it needs a good fresh coat of paint. The bed was comfortable. The bed linens and bathroom had to be pretty clean because you could smell the bleach used. We couldn’t get the tv to work but we were just there to sleep for a few hours during our travel. The shower was good and hot but the tub doesn’t drain well at all so by the end I was ankle deep in water. The wall needed to be repaired from moving the shower rod. We smoke detector was missing off the wall. |If you are looking for a clean room you got it. It just needs to be freshened up with new paint and newer furniture.
