Lotus Inn and Suites Nashville

I would give this 0 stars but then it does not let the review be posted. We checked in and where trying to settle in and went to lay down and there where drug pipes in the bed under the covers and the room was clearly not cleaned. They would not give me a different room or my money back. Poor service all around. I would not recommend.

Positive: Just the location was convenient. Negative: The first room I was in had floorboards coming up, the curtains were broken, so was the chain to the door, and there was pet hair on the bed. I requested a second room that was much better but there was stains on a lot of the furniture

Traveling into the early morning hours, a friend and I needed a room. All the surrounding hotels had full parking lots, so we chose the Lotus. The young Indian at the office was sleeping on the office couch. He woke up and rented us a room for $70. At that price one should not complain. I will complain anyway. ||There was no soap at the sink or shower. We improvised with a tiny bottle of shampoo I had with me. There were no glasses by the sink, either. The shower was old. It was clean, but did not have the immediate look of being clean. Neither of us used it. There was a chair with a wheel broken off. The coverings on the beds had holes in them. The lighting was dim. DO NOT COME TO THIS MOTEL IT IS A NIGHTMARE! From the first day we got here I’ve had to go to the office every day. The first room they gave us was terrible. Holes in the floor, toilet falling apart, hair in the bathtub, Rusty microwave, filthy room, Roaches, spiders, and something bit my boyfriend while we tried to sleep on the 2 inch mattress. I told the manager the next day he said he would move us to a better, “nicer” room. The next room was still terrible. It has a door that’s taped off from connecting to the room next door and all you can hear are the people fighting and yelling all night. The “new” bedding is dirty with stains on it. Would not stay again... Our experience at this hotel was disappointing. The area surrounding the property felt unsafe, with many homeless individuals and a noticeable criminal presence nearby. Several teammates moved to another hotel after encountering bed bugs; while we did not see any in our room, the situation was concerning. The front desk clerk offered no refund options and communication was difficult. With better security, improved cleanliness, and stronger guest support, this hotel could offer a much better experience. For now, I cannot recommend it.
