Booking was easy and inexpensive compared to rooms on seawall area. The house is super cute. The rooms are very small but clean and comfortable. My husband and I stayed one night before our cruise in december. Again, the room is super cute. The host is nice and communicative. Parking was on the street but we has no issues with that. The only issue we had is the room was cold. It was only about 58 degrees out. There is a portable radiator heater supplied. I turned it on but it never really warmed the room. We ended up going to walmart to buy a heated throw blanket. It kept us warm in the bed all night.
We loved staying at the Lotus! Our flight landed super early and they were more than accommodating when allowing us early check in. The room was full of light and beautiful. Everything was up to date and modern. The grounds and gardens were beautiful and well kept. We had a wonderful Christmas staying here and highly recommend!
This is a quaint home 1 mile from the beach and is super cute and the rooms are very updated. I loved the place until the next morning when we woke up it was very, very cold outside and the room was mildly warm despite the heaters being on. Once we walked out to grab a coffee, it was freezing cold inside the rest of the house. I don't think there were any heaters outside of the rooms. The cleaning service ladies were so cold they were standing over a small space heater trying to just warm their hands. Other guests were also discussing how cold the house was. We went back to our room after grabbing coffee to finish getting ready and I noticed gaps in the wood flooring allowing the cold air through. I don't think I'd stay here again in the winter but would definitely consider it during the w
Amazing place very quiet and clean. Walking distance to downtown and minutes away from cruise terminal. Already booked for May, this is a hidden gem.
Charming little spot in Galveston. I got it because it was really affordable and near the port so we can easily get to our cruise. Be prepared to potentially struggle with your roller luggage as the surfaces outside are uneven and the stairs. Getting an earlier check in time was fairly easy. Just emailed them when I wanted to check in and they told me whether they could make it happen. $45 per hour charge though. I can in 3 hours earlier so extra $135. Was worth it though because we would've been standing outside for hours with our bags lol. We were welcomed immediately. Very friendly. We were early for check in and they offered to store our luggage until the room was available. The wifi was weird initially. But wouldn't connect. The lady tried to help us with it but wasn't sure herself. L
