Lost Woods Farm & Forest

Had an amazing time staying in a geodesic dome do the first time. Accommodations were excellent, modular bathroom was incredible, mini kitchenette adorable with everything you need and nothing you don’t, Extraordinary winter views. Highly recommend.

Do yourself a favor and stay at Lost Woods Farm. The food, the views, and the peaceful energy of the land are simply unmatched. Lauren, the host, goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Each site is thoughtfully curated, with every detail considered. I booked a retreat here and felt supported throughout the entire process. Lauren was responsive, kind, timely—everything you could hope for in a host. I highly recommend staying here. You won’t regret it.

The dome was the coolest experience. Lauren was so easy to contact, and quick to respond to our many questions. We stayed in early January and it was very comfortable and cozy. Everything you would need for your stay was provided, right down to the farm fresh eggs! The shower and bathroom were surprisingly spacious. Check in and check out was very easy. Can’t wait to stay again and try the other options maybe in the summer or fall. Wish we could have given more than 5 stars! Thanks for a great time.

My husband and I spent one night in the dome for our anniversary. It was perfect. We had to make a few accommodation changes and Lauren was very responsive and kind. The dome was very clean, air conditioned, and very cozy and comfy. I’ve told a zillion people about it already. We had warm bagels and eggs delivered in the morning. We were given recommendations of places to eat when we went into town. When we left, I asked for recommendations of places to stop on our way home. Lauren was quick to mention places; we stopped at a cute lavender farm not too far away that was perfect. Excellent place and host!

Lauren was an excellent host. She was incredibly responsive and well prepared to address all relevant details of our stay at check in. She was also very helpful in transporting our things upon check in and check out. Lost Woods was a wonderful place to restore and relax our souls. The views were incredible. Scenery was so serene. And the homemade baked goods and coffee delivered daily felt like a warm hug. Lost Woods is also in a fabulous location if day trips around Northern Michigan are in the cards, as they were for us. Have already recommended to many people!
