Lorry's Island End Motel

We decided to take a last-minute trip to our happy place, LBI, and on a friend’s recommendation, booked a stay at Lorry’s Island End Motel. What a find! LBI has become so expensive over the years with all the new homes and high-priced hotels, but Lorry’s makes it affordable without sacrificing comfort or charm. The owner, Bill, is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we booked, he made sure everything was seamless, guiding us every step of the way. His warmth and hospitality really make this place special, and his staff is just as friendly and accommodating.|The motel itself is spotless and has everything you could need. Family owned and a throwback cozy feel of the LBI days long ago. Owner is a gem and location in Holgate is the best of everything LBI is. Photos are of the end of island a stones throw from Hotel. Holgate is heaven and this place makes it affordable for people who have grown up with LBI but are being forced out by the pricey and high end clientele.

Although I'm only allowed to share a specific date on Trip Advisor..I Have stayed at Lorrys Inn over several years and I have only positive things to say. Yes, it's basic..yes the rooms are clean..if you want high end ..go somewhere else..it's a beach motel !!!..Old School!|They have awesome barbecue grills and picnic tables..awesome area for kids to play..it it not obstensious..it's a great personal or family motel to just chill ..bay on on side. Beach on one side..Bagels..coffee and oj..in the am..Bokerz deli up the street..Lorrys Motel is a little bit o Heaven for people who appreciate LIFE..just like the good old dayz..Just a great spot for individuals or families who just want to get back to basics..Don't complain..You'll never have a better experience..then just not wanting more..

Had an awesome weekend on Long Beach Island at Lorry's. I have stayed here many times over the past 25 + years and I am never disappointed. The rooms are always clean and the staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and happy. The owner, Bill, is a very caring and kind person and has always treated me and my daughter as family. We feel at home here. My daughter has loved this place since her first visit when she was about 5. She is 30 now and comes with her 3 sons, who all love it here! The rooms have comfortable beds and full size refrigerator and freezer, which helps with keeping food costs down and also with food allergies like my grandchildren have. Wow. Lorrys Motel exceeded my expectations, I am very pleased with my experience. The second we got out of the car Rob was already greeting us. Upon arriving to the room it was very clean and had nice amenities like a table, fridge, freezer (with premade ice), and a microwave. The rooms were very comfy and it was easy to get a good nights rest. Me and the two people I went with met both Rob (the manager) and Bill (the owner) and both were extremely kind and very attentive. One night we got takeout but forgot to ask for utensils. Bill brought us utensils at 9pm at night! If that isn’t good service I don’t know what is.
