Lone Wolf Cabin

Not sure about the bad reviews, but my wife and I stayed here over the holloween weekend. We loved it, it was in perfect shape, just like all of the pictures we saw on the website. This is a great little get away for a couple. You can't hear road noise from inside, there is no mice, dust etc... So if you can't leave an honest review or you have never stayed here, don't open your mouth. Thank you for the wonderful stay, Twilight Ridge!!

Just did a weekend there and it was wonderful. The whole place is isolated enough, but also not too far from Logan or the Walmart if you need to grab a few items. It's also fairly close to Rockbridge, Fox's High Rock Farm, and Hocking Hills Winery. It was very clean and the kitchen, hot tub, and AC worked perfectly. No complaints at all. Checkin was also super easy. I don't think I ever actually had to directly interact with anyone during the entire process of booking, staying, or leaving. I just got an email the week before with the address and details, and we just showed up. Super simple. The only things to keep in mind for prospective renters: the bed is pretty firm, that might not be your thing. The TV is also pretty small but we didn't mind because we were out hitting the trails all

DO NOT RENT THIS CABIN! IT IS A HEALTH HAZZARD!! * On our first night there, a MOUSE crawled across the BED and over my husband"s legs!! Second night there , we heard gnawing and scratching all evening in the cabin. At 2 AM, we found MOUSE on the cross beam of ceiling, then he scaled down the fireplace stones and dashed under the fridge! *BLACK MOLD ON CEILING! * BROKEN RECLINERS ON BOTH SIDES OF LOVESEAT. *HOT TUB WATER CLOUDY AND SMELLY. NO HEAD RESTS. BROKEN COVER RACK *COBWEBS THROUGHOUT I attempted to contact the rental company via email. No response. I called them. No response. I finally messaged them on FB and got a contact number for "Jason". He LAUGHED at me over the mouse and proceeded to call me 'one of those city people". Uh, us city people are your customers!! We did not trust VRBO, because we did not get an address. We emailed and called the contact info, with no response. Finally, we called a 3rd time and someone answered. Note the VM is for some other Cabins, not this one. Mgr. says we will get address 1 wk. prior to check in. We did not, still worried this is legit. Recd address 3 days prior. This cabin looks like its pick, except there are no twinkling lights inside or a wolf quilt on the bed. The cabin smells like the fireplace. Do not stay there if you have allergies to smoke! There are at least 6 notes reminding you to leave a maid tip. We pay a housekeeping fee and still had to wash dishes on vacation! The rafters are covered in thick dust and cobwebs inside and out. The trash can inside is disgusting to see every time you

This is the first time I've ever written a review and I wish it were more positive. If you're looking for a cabin that's peaceful and serene, THIS IS NOT IT! I stayed at Lone Wolf for over a week and it was a terrible experience. The noise from the road below the cabin and the houses/businesses that are within sight of it, was constant...from chain saws to metal saws to motorcycles racing up the dead-end road...it never let up, starting as early as 6am, including the weekend. In addition, there were problems with the cabin. Twinkle lights around the deck were burned out and hanging sloppily; front porch light had burned out bulbs; burned out bulbs in the kitchen fixture and in the ceiling fan. The cabin was very dusty...strings of dust on the walls and ceilings, on the mantle, on the
