Log Cabin Motor Court

Our log cabin was very cozy, with a fantastic heater, great fireplace, and lots of hot water. The caretaker, Susie, was super friendly and helpful. The kitchen could have been better equipped (a strainer, a whisk, a sharp knife) but all in all, we were able to cook just fine (and Susie got us a cutting board). The beds were comfortable enough with plenty of blankets. Pillows not so great. In sum, we were very happy with our cabin and the location and would return if in the area. I recommend booking directly with them as Booking.com charged us a $210 pet fee when we had no pets and would not respond to my calls or emails about it.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything. No one contacted me to tell me you had to check in between 3 and 6 pm. It only said after 3 pm. There was no way for us to get into the cabin. We ended up having to book a hotel to stay in. No one was at the location to talk to. It was AWFUL

Second time staying here first time by myself and it was ok cabin big enough for 1 person. But this visit 2 of us and it was like being in a box. They are very old and rustic. Opened the blinds and saw dust go everywhere. They need a good cleaning. |They do need some tender loving care very outdated. We were not very happy with our stay.

Best place to stay in Asheville. We had the most wonderful weekend here for our Anniversary. 2 mins from everything from The Orange Peel for a show to the Stoney Knob Cafe for lunch. We will definitely be back and bring the whole family. Mrs. Suzi was so nice and welcoming. Also being a state historical site was such an enriching bonus to our stay. 10 out of 10 will highly recommend. 😁

We absolutely love every time we get to stay at the Log Cabin Motor Court! Such cute and cozy accommodations and such easy access to so many great places in Asheville! We also loved the key code entrance which made our late check in super easy. The WiFi was not the strongest but we were out and about and didn’t need to rely on It! We will definitely be back.
