Loews Chicago Hotel

Recent renovations of the rooms are tasteful with a sense of calm. I appreciate the blend of colours, transitional modern fixtures, subtle luminescent finishes and natural materials. Our premium room was simple in just the right elevated way. The staff in-room dining, front desk and restaurant and bar service were all friendly, warm and prompt. The food was well presented and delicious. The fresh flower arrangements the tables in the lobby bar and front desk are a classy touch. We look forward to returning soon.

This was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. My son booked through Chase Travel. From the minute we walked in, everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. From the office staff, valet,waiters,maids everyone was great. The hotel is the cleanest one I’ve been in. Breakfast was delicious. |The only disappointment was the view. I requested a river,city view. I got a lakefront view with a building in the way.

Positive: Very clean, spacious rooms. Up-to-date. Great location. Staff were very professional and made me feel welcome. Great lap pool. Negative: The destination fee. They did not credit my $10 purchase at the coffee shop inside of the building and I had to contact them to fix that on my bill. This credit should be applied automatically, and it was a bit annoying to need to request this fix.

We stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday and Valentine's Day, and it was a wonderful experience. I especially want to recognize Enora at the front desk — from the moment we checked in, she was genuinely warm and welcoming. She took the time to answer all of our questions, always with a smile, and even prepared a birthday surprise with a cake, champagne, and a handwritten card. It wasn't just good service — it felt like real, heartfelt kindness. We truly appreciated it. The ETA restaurant was also a pleasant surprise. We had both breakfast and dinner there, and the food quality was better than we expected for a hotel restaurant. The shakshuka at breakfast was delicious, and the ragu pasta at dinner was excellent. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago.

First and foremost: Be aware that they charge a non-refundable resort fee per day on top of your overall bill. Even though we did not use any of the services that are supposedly included in that fee, the front desk staff r fused to remove it. Taking off a star for that deceptive practice. Site advertises having a gift shop. They do not have one. They do have a grab and go snack shop attached to their coffee shop. They close at 3pm. The staff members themselves are all very pleasant and friendly. Valet parking was easy to deal with though way too pricey. Honestly, it's cheaper to park at one of the parking garages nearby. There's one a block away. Rooms are nice, but a bit small.for the price. No tubs, just showers, but you do get a fridge. Location is 2 blocks from Navy Pier in River E
