We stayed at L’Auberge for our anniversary weekend and would highly recommend it! After agonizing over which room type to book we ultimately landed on the “Cliffs King Deluxe” room — we’re so glad we did! The room itself was gorgeous, but it was the view that put it over the top. We could enjoy a glass of wine on our patio and enjoy spectacular views of the red rocks. The only caveat I’d give is that to get back down to the main resort you do have to climb several flights of stairs, but they will pick you up in a golf cart if you plan ahead! Amenities at the resort were top notch. We enjoyed using the gym (2 peloton bikes & a rower machine!), getting massages at the spa (honestly one of the best ones I’ve ever had!), and sitting by the pool to read. The only complaint I’d have, about the
Not what I expected. We’ve been here twice once 4 years ago. We stayed in a cliff cottage, it was magical. You woke up to a view of red rocks, heated floors. Bathtub over looking the rocks. Amazing and cozy. The second time we thought we booked the same room but looks like they expanded and took over another hotel? The cliffs the call it, it’s too far from the lobby and you feel like you’re at an elevated best western. The view is nice but very different feel than the original hotel rooms. It’s about 100 ft climb to and from the lobby but also steps away from the main Sedona street. Just sad that the ambiance was less cozy this time while paying more money.
I was very wary of booking this hotel, based on some of the reviews on here.. I followed my gut and booked it regardless, and was absolutely blown away by the level of service provided by this hotel. We pulled up and were greeted by the wonderful concierge team, valet parking, immediately handed us an umbrella to shield us from the rain.. went into check in and had an amazing experience with the front desk. The room was absolutely incredible with the best views of the red rocks, I've never seen anything like it, and the views from the room were so great we didn't need to leave.. The bar is right next to a creek and offers outdoor seating, an upscale, cozy experience. There is an onsite free shuttle service where you are able to get a free taxi essentially, anywhere within a 1.5km radius. A
Absolutely loved this place. Location was perfect, car service (an unexpected surprise!) made getting to and from dinner a breeze, and excellent customer service with endless personalized touches made us feel valued and comfortable. Will be back!!
Stayed in a cottage at L’Auberge de Sedona. The spa was a highlight, the creekside restaurant is beautiful, and the location can’t be beat for views. Service was prompt and attentive. That said, for the price, I expected more… our outdoor shower had water issues and the fireplace didn’t work. Lovely setting, but not sure it was worth what we paid. Loved the outdoor cats that visited us outside our room!
