A bit disappointed with this one. You can tell it's older and a little dumpy. Most of the spaces are really short and a challenge to maneuver. Reviews claimed good cell coverage but I had none with T-Mobile. A deal breaker for me unfortunately. I had good wifi at Boulder Beach but none available here. They do have a dump station and 2 restrooms and a few water spigots. None of which I used because I did not stay. As a disabled senior I really must have cell service. I will say the views of the canyon and river are spectacular. But I won't be back.
A little bit sketchy compared to other reviewers. Unfortunately for quite a bit of the campground there are no restrictions during the day for generators. So one person was allowed just to run their generator all day only being restricted from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Even though one can assume that it is generally understood that this shouldn't be done they're always those that don't quite get the memo! This is camping not staying at home and just watching TV! Quite a few of the camp spots were reserved but we managed to find something and it turned out fine The bathrooms were fairly clean but contain no garbage cans which is really weird. This campground in general however is not up to par with general NPS standards. Good view and generally good experience however and quite cheap with
The bad: Toilets were clogged, no lights in bathroom so bring your own, no soap. No trash cans by bathroom but dumpster not far. The good: quiet, picnic table and fire ring provided. Good views. Cell service okay. Water pumps and dumping available.
It was a very nice family campground with water spigots & an electric plug in the restrooms (flushing toilets) which were pretty much clean & stocked except for no soap or paper towels. Many coyotes & owls were heard at night in the distance & the stars were awesome! Generators have running hours otherwise it would be horrible noise! America the Beautiful Access Pass gets you half off campsites & free entry into the Lake Mead area(talk to any BLM land office 😉). The rangers were very professional and courteous! Camp host Bob seems to have the campground efficient and well kept while being friendly & helpful. Trees & bushes are protected so the shade is great!!! I would have given 5 stars if the lake wasn't so far away due to the water being down so far in the lake now. Plenty of dumpsters
Campground is clean. Bathrooms well kept. No showers. Water and RV dump on site.
