Best Western Hoover Dam Hotel – SE Henderson, Boulder City

The room is what you might expect in a motel in a small town. There wasn't one level floor in the building. Not the walkways, not in the room... Not even in the bathtub but the room was clean, had everything we needed and the staff was wonderfully polite and accommodating. We stayed there along with several other people on different rooms, everyone had the same complaint, the beds were just too hard and we all had a hard time sleeping. Also each room had a different smell. Some like mold id the ADA room and others like they tried to cover cigarette smoke. My particular room was fine. The location is fantastic if you want to wander in the heart of boulder city. All in all a good stay

Better late than never! We just stayed for 1 night on a road trip through the area. We arrived late in the afternoon and left early the next morning, so didn't get to experience a lot that the hotel had to offer. The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking. My husband and I as well as our friend were given rooms on the ground floor. Our friend got a slightly nicer corner room that had a king bed and a little sitting area. We received the regular room with 2 doubles. It seemed a bit weird that they would choose to upgrade him over us when we were the ones on our honeymoon, but it's probably weird that we had our friend tag along for part of our honeymoon too, so not holding that against anyone! Positive: We liked that they had a very nice breakfast and the lady serving was very helpful and friendly, the maid was very polite and kind we tipped both very generously. However the management were the problem! Negative: Went we checked in we noticed that there were many young children running back and forth on the second floor and originally we were on the third floor so the manager moved us to the first floor. They allowed a group of 10 teenagers and two adults in 2bed.

Typical best western stay; cheap, decent rooms with no sound insulation. Our deadbolt lock didn’t work, as it was jammed inside the door, and doors open to outside. The indoor pool looked nice but it was filled with screaming kids who incidentally all got into a car and left when the pool closed and never returned. The location is a short walk to restaurants and groceries. The breakfast was phenomenal and the breakfast attendant I met took a lot of pride in what she did. I stayed January 24, 2026.

I had a very bad experience staying at this hotel. The floor in the room was extremely dirty — my feet became black from dust after walking inside. The room also had a strong dusty smell, and the overall cleanliness was very poor. Because of the dust and odor, I couldn’t sleep the whole night. This was honestly the worst hotel experience of my life. I would not recommend staying here.
