Boulder Dam Hotel

If you're visiting Hoover Dam, this historic hotel in Boulder City is charming. Built in 1933, the art deco architecture is gorgeous. Rooms are small but full of character. The restaurant is solid. Boulder City itself is a cute, walkable town with antique shops and cafés. It's only about 30 minutes from the Strip. A fun overnight side trip, especially if you're doing the dam and Lake Mead. Feels like stepping back in time.

This historic hotel is a wonderful travel back in time to the 1930's when the Boulder Dam was being constructed. There is a top-notch museum on the first floor dedicated to the construction of the dam, which is still one of the wonders of the world. There is also a lovely art gallery featuring area artists . Try the new restaurant in the hotel for great breakfasts, lunches, and dinners! Enjoy the speak-easy cocktail bar downstairs from the lobby with amazing drinks and great live music. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and furnished with period pieces to make your journey back in time complete. The staff is so gracious and welcoming. Great location close to yhe Hoover dam. Rooms could use a remodel or two, but served its purpose. The oddest this was was bar tender rationing beer and whiskey purchases at the main bar. 🤔 food at the restaurant bars left alot to be desired. Well it was a warm bed to sleep and a couple cold beers to drink.

Positive: Very special historic place in heart of old Boulder City. Very clean. Rooms are sponsored by members and businesses in the community, and our room was beautifully decorated. Restaurant on main floor served a wonderful breakfast (not included with room) Negative: ""

This hotel is a great place to stay. Out room was just above the lobby. The room was huge and furnished with antiques. There was a bit of music coming from the lounge in the basement, but that ended at a reasonable time. Right downtown. Boulder city has done a nice job of sprucing up the old downtown. We had a nice stroll after dinner in the hotel. The price was quite reasonable considering how nice Boulder dam hotel is.
