Went there with a large group and was seated immediately, got the broiled scallops and almost everyone else ordered the stuffed haddock, everything looked, smelled and tasted delicious. Couldn't ask for better service. I can see this place having the potential to be extremely busy on the weekends, especially when the summer tourists start showing up, but in the middle of the week in winter it was a great dining experience.

A local staple. Consistent good food with a local flare. A nice variety of menu items including pub fare, dinners and lunch selections. A nice mix of beef, seafood, chicken and other options. Awesome happy hour specials. The Sunday brunch there is excellent probably the best on the seacoast.

Positive: Quaint. Room, especially the bathroom, was small but quite manageable. After all, it is an old inn. Negative: Handicap access for my mother was inadequate.

This is a charming hotel in a building that dates back to the 18th century! The rooms are small, but comfortable. The hotel is easily located minutes from the highway and the restaurant on site is a great place to unwind after travels. However, the highlight of our stay was the breakfast pastries baked overnight by the in house baker, Paul. His blueberry and pumpkin croissants as well as the pumpkin muffins were incredible and a great treat to get the day started. Enjoyed the night we stayed here on our way to places North of there.
