Lakeside Resort & Conference Center

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for tip up town. The room was very clean and nice. The restaurant did a great job serving us both nights. We loved the hot tub and pool area. Very clean and looks newly painted. Front desk was very nice and helped us a few times with questions. We will be back!

We booked almost every room they had for a work conference. They did a great job getting everyone checked in. Their conference room space and banquet space was great. Many from our group enjoyed their bar and grill as well. Rebecca was their Event Person and she was super easy to work with.

We absolutely love this hotel. We come AT LEAST 1 time a year...sometimes 3 or 4 for a little weekend getaway. Its in a beautiful location right on the lake... so there are beautiful views if you get a room on the backside of the hotel. Some of those rooms have balconies too. The pool area is awesome. There's a decent size water slide with a pool, a splash pad area, a lazy river, a bigger pool area, and a hot tub. Its a great size for small children but our older kids really enjoy it too! Its fun for the whole family every time we come.

I have stayed at somewhere between 100-150 hotels. I have to say this was the worst accommodation or atleast attempt of accommodation I have ever seen. We had a party of 6, 3 rooms. We showed up at about 4:30, (check in is 3:00). The hotel let us know only 1 of the 3 rooms were going to available. Mind you, that room was not ready. Lakeside called all 3 people in our reservations the day before to offer “free” cancellation beings their pool and hottub were closed, we politely declined and planned to be at their hotel and bar for New Years. Once we arrived we found out the girl at the desk had been left out to dry by upper management. We ended up getting an AirBnB a mile down the road on the lake (which Lakeside should have covered!).
