Lake Logan State Park

They refer to Lake Logan State Park as the gateway to the Hocking Hills Region. Not sure exactly why this is considered a state park. It is more or less a small quiet lake in Hocking County. There is a small beach area and a couple of trails. Not much in the way of amenities. It appears there are several private residences around the lake. Not much here!

Such an excellent spot for a family get-together! You can even hire boats, and the kids absolutely love the ride.

The girls loved it! Nice little area. Definitely a lot of trash & fishing line throughout but, its clearly a huge tourist spot & for good reason. Would definitely visit again. The dogs loved it!

Kudos to all who have made major improvements to Lake Logan and the beach. The sand gets dragged and is nice and clean. There are many docks, restrooms, a larger Marina at the left end and a mini rental place at the beach. There are two blue herons that live there and there is plenty of parking! Sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous on Lake Logan! Nice you can rent pontoons and those giant ducks, too!!

Lake Logan is a great all around activity place. Fishing, boating, swimming, and nature walks are all here. Reserve a paddle boat in the am (or Pontoon), take a mid day walk to walk off lunch, and dip a line in the water by evening. Or just fish all day! Either way, it's a great place to check out.
