Lafayette's Oceanfront Resort

What a wonderful late winter getaway we enjoyed! Beautiful room with ocean view and the sound of waves. Great natural light. Easy access to restaurants (yes some were open even in late February).

way over priced. Yes ocean right there but $469/night for mandatory 2 nights for a shoebox size room is way too much. Room old poor ventilation. Faces a concrete walkway between you and ocean so everyone milling around out there and sit drinking at night. Privacy poor-have to draw drapes all the time. Safety and security poor: poor latches on sliding walkway door and all the internal corridor doors to the street propped open- anyone can be right outside your room. Pool ok jacuzzi water filthy. Most guests either from Massachusetts or Quebec oddly. wont stay again. This was our anniversary trip on Labor Day weekend.

Always a great stay at the resort. Over 20 years we have been visiting this location. I give a 4 star review for that. A 3 star would be for the overall sleep experiences overtime though.

Excellent place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, and the veiw was spetacular! We loved walking on the beach and collecting shells. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub too!

We wanted a room with an ocean view and be able to walk on the beach. Our stay hit both points on the head. We were 20 feet from the beach and the ocean view was spectacular. Highly recommend staying at Lafayette's.
