⭐ 1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointed – Anniversary Trip Turned Into a Hassle My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our anniversary with a stay at this hotel and truly wanted to give it a chance. The booking process over the phone went smoothly, and we were optimistic after a long drive. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. Upon checking in, we were shocked to discover that our room had not been cleaned or serviced at all. There was trash scattered throughout the room, the bed and sheets were dirty, and it was evident that someone had already slept in the bed. It was both unsanitary and unsettling. We have stayed at this property many times|throughout the years. It was often our go-to hotel when wanting to stay downtown or be close to the only live music venue in Morro Bay. Never again. Check-in was ridiculous. The singular front desk clerk was overwhelmed with the amount of guests waiting to check in. She had to leave the front desk to see if rooms were ready for occupancy. After our questionable check in regarding our reserved “oceanview room” we entered our room only to be overtaken by an incredibly strong cleaning odor. Even after opening the slider balcony door the odor remained the entire overnight stay. And our oceanview room overlooked the bank parking lot with the same ocean view we have had before but at much less a cost. Have never experienced this before and will never a

The receptionist was very welcoming and showed us the room and view to see if we would like it. The room was clean and satisfactory for our needs. The location is great walking distance to Main Street and the harbor. We will stay here again for sure.

It’s close to the bay and walking distance to most of the attractions. But the elevators were not working and the breakfast was so ordinary. Rooms were nice for the stay.
