La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Schertz

My stay was very enjoyable. The room was spacious clean. The water was good and hot. The staff was friendly. There is some construction going on in the front in the lobby area. They’re doing some remodeling, but the rooms are really nice. There’s only one elevator working, but that wasn’t a real problem. I would definitely recommend I will stay again.

Didn't even book they stay because of how rude the service was. Called to find details on what was needed to set-up a room block for our wedding (10 rooms minimum). Asked to speak to the sales manager to speak about what was needed by them specifically and was told to speak to Samiel (not sure of spelling) and to call back at the given time when he would be there. Called back and asked same question about room block, "That's me" was the only introduction I was given so I'm not even sure if I heard the name right from the first call. He was speaking to other people while on the phone with me, understandable but didn't mention that he was helping others, so it became confusing if he was speaking to me or others. Manager refuses to call back. Tried twice, left a message. Left a number with front desk. Nothing. Maybe a mistake, maybe it's greed, maybe incompetentcy. Be careful when dealing with this hotel. It is a decent place, it's clean, felt safe. Could use more than just one lamp in the room. This is really more worthy of 4-5 stars, I'm just disappointed I couldn't get a hold of the manager regarding a simple $25 refund for a day my dog wasn't there at all. Its just silly, and completely preventable.

The hotel itself was clean, nice, and service was good, breakfast was good, but the room needed some help. The room over all was good, the A/C worked good, the bed was comfortable, it was quite, but the bathroom could of need some more work. It was clean yes, but not counter top for the sink, it was free standing. and had a plastic rolling bin for towels, very cheap. And the housekeeping needs to step up there game, there was two almost empty roll, with no extra paper, so I had to call the front desk to bring me more toilet paper and towels.

After reading the reviews, I should have trusted them and chosen a different hotel. Unfortunately, the negative feedback from other guests proved to be accurate. My primary concern was the unacceptable level of customer service I experienced, specifically from an employee named Nick, who identified himself as the manager. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he stated that he answered to no one, and that he does not answer to a supervisor. His behavior was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful, which was extremely disappointing. The room itself was adequate; however, there were maintenance issues, such as an excessively loud bathroom fan that automatically turned on with the light, making it impossible to use the bathroom without the noise.
