Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites San Antonio NE/Schertz

Terrible experience. Room door locked us out and a maintenance man had to be called in to force it open. Several wasted hours. So called, “management” agreed to give us points for our trouble. I had to call 6x to finally receive these points. Everytime she guaranteed she’d call at a certain time and failed several times on her promise. Breakfast had zero taste and was extremely poor quality. We are gold status with Marriott. This was our worst experience ever with many world travels and it ruined part of our precious vacation time. Truly disappointing.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a family reunion we were attending. For the most part the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. In our room the coffee tray had open condiments for the coffee, which was a little disappointing. Seems like housekeeping that day was not focused on small details. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will probably stay again in the future.

The room was nice and spacious. The breakfast offerings were unimpressive, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles that you make. Same thing every day. Service to the breakfast was slow when batter or eggs ran out. The location was accessible to the greater Denver area. The price for our extended stay was quite reasonable and affordable.

The staff was extremely friendly. I had a small issue in the room but they immediately went into action and got me moved (and upgraded) to a different room quickly. The manager even followed up with me! Breakfast was very good and the hotel was very clean. It’s in a good location, too!

Friendly and easy check in. Convenient location by the highway, close to quick bites, and across the road from a big HEB. Complimentary on site parking, coffee, and breakfast. Clean lobby and room. Room is comfortable and nicer than what I expected from online pictures. Booked for Wurstfest and easy uber ride to get there. Happy with this hotel choice!
