La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio at the RIM

I usually stay at Hilton’s. But my last two experience is with them were not good. They seem to have a heating problem. Now I know America loves to be cold. They like to freeze themselves to death and they think it’s some kind of cool thing but to me, I want a warm room when it’s 50° outside. I don’t want the air conditioner as the only thing working. So I decided to try La Quinta. And it was wonderful. You have the old school units in the window and it gave wonderful heat and kept me snug as a bug in a rug during my slumber. The breakfast was yummy and free. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly, funny and professional. So I decided to save myself an average of $60 and it paid off. I’ve joined La Quinta’s rewards program and I will be booking these hotels on my travels from now

The room we had was nice and efficient. Key cards worked and water pressure was good. The only issue we experienced was being told La Quinta is now charging $75 a night per pet fee. We had been staying in La Quintas for the last two weeks on our road trip and none had tried to charge me more than $25 for our dog. So not sure if that really is the case or this hotel is just charging more. Location was great and an easy stop along our route.

Taken money twice - have contacted & not yet refunded. BEWARE.|Booked via Booking.com, for a stay on 25/10/25. All paid up in advance - they confirmed at check in. Card was swiped for ‘incidentals’ or incase we wanted anything from their shop. We bought nothing, and expected no charges. |We were surprised to find a couple of days later that a transaction on account for the FULL AMOUNT TAKEN OUT A 2nd TIME! |Do we’ve emailed on their central customer services- only a generic reply, but no action. Phoned the hotel direct- person spoke to had no idea & all she could say was ‘I’ll need to speak to my manager, as I’m not authorised to do this’. |Now attempting to contact a 3rd time.

Stayed with my family of 5 ( 3 kids 5 and under ) . The stay was amazing and cozy during our Stay.(2bed with kitchen ) had a big fridge stove microwave and all the dishes you needed. Lupe and the other Front desk staff was Very Helpful and Friendly. Appreciate the Team there and the hospitality. Will recommend to Everyone and Families.
