La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Alamo City

I checked in March 6, 2026, out on March 7, 2026, and unfortunately this was a very disappointing stay. From the outside and in the lobby, the hotel looks great and appears to be a fairly newer property. However, once you go past the lobby, the condition changes quickly. Elevator #2 was extremely dirty, with built-up dirt on the metal trim and even visible holes in the floor. That should not happen in a newer property. I stayed in Room 321 on the third floor, and the room was unacceptable. The sheets and pillowcases looked brown and stained, to the point I had to put my own shirt over the pillow to sleep. The room also had a strong smoke smell even though it was supposed to be non-smoking, and the nightstand had visible residue and buildup. When I spoke with the front desk late that n

When we arrived to our rooms, the sliding door to the bathroom was hard to close, and my daughter's room had mole in the AC unit. The front desk associate was very helpful and got us new rooms. Pool staff was helpful and made sure the pool and area were clean.|If you have neck or back issues, bring your own pillow. The hotel pillows go flat.

Haven’t even checked out and I’m already writing the review for this hotel. The beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. The room is clean and specious. The customer service was excellent. Love was very helpful. The location was good as well only 18 min from river walk which it wasn’t bad at all. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Stayed at the hotel for a few days last week. Very clean, fresh smelling. Room was very spacious, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom. Good Continental breakfast. Good Customer service There is a Walmart and restaurants within 10 mins of location. Would definitely stay here again
