La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oklahoma City Norman

Great experience! Purchased this room Thursday evening at the last minute, the La Quinta was very accommodating to our needs. The beds are comfy and the room was clean. Please consider this hotel for your OU needs.

Possible identification of a full-sized bed bug on our pajamas. We immediately notified staff and asked for assistance and were told to wait for the general manager to arrive. We were verbally accosted by the general manager instead of helped. They refused to inspect the bug and only said that pest control would handle it. When I calmly informed nearby guests that they may want to check their clothing as a precaution, staff became extremely rude and instructed me not to speak to other guests. I asked whether guests would be notified if bed bugs were confirmed, and was told only that they would “treat the room.” Be aware: if you raise a concern, it may be met with hostility rather than professionalism. I was shocked by the level of anger and attempted humiliation directed at me for calmly

Positive: That I was only staying one night. Negative: The bathtub was broken and stained. The room was much older than advertised. The staff was rude and condescending. Housekeeping walked into our room without knocking while we were in bed. The breakfast was chincy and area was not well maintained.

Hotel was nice. Front desk gal wasn't very personable or gave much info about anything when we checked in, but we've stayed in plenty of hotels so wasn't a big deal. All other staff was great. Room was clean and beds comfy. Great location, and breakfast wasn't bad, could use a bit more options but overall good. We'd def stay here again!

Clean, friendly, and quiet. Great location too. My daughter had auditions at OU and the drive there was 5 minutes. Perfect for us.
