Comfort Inn Memphis Downtown

Stop reading reviews and just book here! WOW am I glad I did! Let me start with the most outstanding part of this hotel: THE STAFF! Absolutely every single person I encountered was friendly, kind, fun, and helpful. Special shout out to Ms. Danyelle and the evening staff. They make you feel that warm Memphis welcome from the moment your foot hits the door. OK now the room....SO clean! The hard working housekeeping staff keeps it sanitized and sparkly...seriously! The beds are crisp and fresh, and even the white grout in the bathroom looks like they just put it on today! Oh and the beds are comfy, and that shower was just right. Great water pressure and temperature. Next up. The VIEW... y'all this place is ON THE RIVER! Plenty of fancy hotels in Memphis without this view.... ask and s

This was a very enjoyable 5 night stay. The hotel was clean, and smelled nice. No signs of pests of any kind, and I do check.The TV didn't have a signal, so I called the number on the card, but they said I should talk to maintenance. As soon as I went downstairs I ran into the maintenance man, who wasn't even on duty, but insisted on taking a look at it. He couldn't fix it right then, so they moved me to another just as nice room with a great view of the river. Tip: Don't unpack until you check things out.The included breakfast was very good. Lots of hot and cold options. Had a minor issue with check out date cofusion, but it was quickly addressed above and beyond. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everyone was very nice.

We booked in to stay for 3 nights, and were allocated a windowless room on the bottom floor. We asked to be moved to a room with a window, which they did pretty much straight away. I left my earpods behind when we left, they mailed it to our next hotel for me - what legends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL - THE STAFF ARE AWESOME!

We were pleasantly surprised at this property - easy to get to, no complicated driving instructions navigating an unfamiliar downtown area! Staff members were very friendly and the property itself was more than we expected from a mid-level budget hotel. It's been a few years since I've stayed at a Comfort Inn - I feel like they have 'classed up' their property. The room was in great shape, pillows excellent, bathroom well stocked with towels, etc. And the view! We were upgraded to a 'bridge & river view' room - delightful!

Room was clean and beds were comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of Beale Street and the Peabody Hotel (which was what I wanted to visit). There is a small outdoor pool and you can see the Mississipi river from there. Breakfast was average, but OK. There is underground parking, which as in all major cities, you have to pay for. All I all a great stay in Memphis.
