La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jourdanton - Pleasanton

From the start, this stay was full of problems. Upon booking, the hotel double-charged our room, which I had to personally resolve through customer support — the staff didn’t handle it properly. When we finally arrived, our room was extremely humid — not just slightly damp. The chair cushions were wet, and the air felt thick and unhealthy to breathe. It was uncomfortable enough that we had to request a room change. The second room wasn’t much better — the shower didn’t drain, so every shower turned into a bath of standing water. I filed a customer service case, expecting some form of apology or fair compensation. Instead, the response I got was that “me and my wife can’t ever come back.” So instead of addressing the poor conditions, the hotel’s “solution” was to ban us as guests. When I

Positive: The location. Negative: The mattresses appear to be completely worn out. The pillows were almost totally flat. My spouse and I agreed it was the worst night sleep we?ve ever had. The side door leading outside had no lock mechanism for guest safety.

Was good service and clean room. Would be nice to have a USB or C charge port in the room for charging but was a good stay.

Had a nice stay at this facility was with a very large group had a few problems, but everything was handled quickly and professionally by Dora she was a big reason we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
