La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Channelview

We requested a ground floor by the door and quiet, extra blankets and towels. The plusses hot water and a tub, and gated security parking . The neg- two towels, no ac, heat on when we arrived, zero customer service. Although breakfast appears to have a nice variety—eggs, sausage, toast, biscuits and gravy—it was ALL cold!! No signs that you needed to heat it up. The “juice “ was just colored water. No flavor, and the coffee was HOURS old. Don’t get near the lobby. There is apparently no quiet hours and people (teens) were in the lobby partying and playing till after 1am.

Bed was comfy. Room was huge with a couch. Room was super quiet. We didn't know it was pouring rain till we opened the curtains. Staff were friendly and helpful. All facilities were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious with so many options. Great location with several supermarkets and good restaurants really close by.

Weekend trip with my girls. Booking was initially good. You can check in on an app, they take your card prior to your arrival. When you get there they charge your card, if you haven't already paid. Even though they said that they don't require a deposit they indeed do put a hold on your card. Equivalent to one nights stay. Check in was easy. Communication is poor. Even though they have an app. Room wasn't like advertised, but decent. TV turn off while you watching a movie.Toilet knob broken in the room unfortunately we, had to work with it the first night. Front dest didn't get back to us until the next day. Breakfast is not the best here. Management difficult to get in touch with. Didn't see a manager until Check out... literally.
