La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus West - Hilliard

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Our stay at La Quinta Columbus West felt like a survival challenge rather than a hotel visit. The moment we walked into the room, we were greeted by what seemed like an entire colony of ants marching across the floor like they had booked the room before we did. It was honestly impressive how comfortable they were. Things only went downhill from there. Both of our rooms had toilets that quite literally exploded like they were auditioning for a plumbing horror movie. After that dramatic performance, they refused to flush at all, which made using the bathroom an adventure nobody asked for. On top of that, there were visible stains on the pillowcases that made us question whether the bedding had ever met a washing machine. To add to the lux

Not worth it! Tried the breakfast the first day & ended up having diarrhea within the hour and needed them to unclog the toilet. 2nd day, against my better judgement I tried something else and found the bread to be stale. Stayed 3 nights and never had the room cleaned or new towels brought in. The location was what we wanted, parking was ample and the service was fine when we asked for it.

Positive: The location Negative: Yes staff was rude. Room smelled musty. Toilet keeped running, turn off for a few minutes then run again..shower had nearly no water pressure. Had I not already paid for the whole stay I would have checkout before the end of first night.

Awesome hotel, very clean and nicely updated. The staff especially Mo, was super friendly and attentive to any needs I had. Keep up the great work 😃 you guys are doing a great job making guest feel welcome.

Tried the breakfast on day one. I had diarrhea and to call for a clogged toilet within 20 minutes. Day 2, against my better judgment. I tried something else and found all the bread/bagels were stale. The very minimal gym equipment had damage or a lot of wear. We stayed 3 nights and never had the room cleaned or extra towels brought up. The location was what we wanted and staff were helpful when asked.
