La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga-Hamilton Place

The pictures online will fool you! The lobby was the cleanest looking thing there. The breakfast was decent. However, the hallways and rooms need some deep cleaning. The sofa was so dirty in our room that I didn't want anyone to sit on them. I sprayed disinfectant all over the room because I wasn't sure how clean it actually was. Oh, the hot water or warm water should I say was another issue. I would rate the whole stay a 4/10.

My husband and I went Dec.5th and d 6th to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. We got the king suite. Walking in the establishment it looked really nice. Staff for the most part were friendly. When we got to our room we were disappointed. We weren't able to sit in the living room area because the couch was broke. The chaise part of it was so dirty I was afraid to sit on it. The TV stand looked like something they got off the side of the road. One coat of bright pink paint hastily put on it looked like. The mattress was lumpy and bouncy and our final breakfast the eggs had cold spots and food was not kept replenished.

Convenient to restaurants but not crammed in to hotel row, where it's hard to figure out which hotel is yours and where to park. Room was clean and bed comfy. I paid extra for the jetted tub, but the water wasnt hot enough to soak in. Also, the sink leaked badly all over the bathroom floor. But I told staff and they said they would haven it taken care of immediately. Super nice people!

Very courteous front desk staff. Very clean lobby, the entry way was quite pleasant with the full wall water with bubbles rising just helps lift your mood. Our room was clean and spacious also. Not much of a view, but we were ok with that. It is located so close to restaurants and malls, close to gas stations and the highway yet it was very nice and quiet. We were there over Christmas so their staff numbers were a little low, they told us ahead and we planned accordingly. The breakfast is right in front and food was good. My only issue was the early closing times. So make sure IF you are having breakfast there that you are mindful of their schedule as it could vary. Come to breakfast before the rush. I would re-book a stay.
