La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga Downtown/South

Positive: Hotel was in a great location and it was relatively new and in good condition Negative: The hotel used a very strong smelling cleaning/disinfecting solution in the lobby and the smell was not very good in the morning while we were having our coffee. Also, the lobby was sort of cold and not similar to the other Marriott and Hilton.

What made this stay 5 stars was the night manager Gabe who was one of the kindest and most personable people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. We'd had a looooong work day behind us, and Gabe's knowledge of the area and amiable attitude were immensely appreciated during our stay. The rooms at this La Quinta are well set up, even if they didn't have proper bathroom doors (sliding barn doors), and the phone does a weird beep the whole night. Otherwise quite nice

We worked a convention recently and stayed here for two nights. We left early and came back past midnight, but always felt welcomed and taken care of! Gabe the night shift at front desk is not only amazing at his job, but he is gracious and patient and so sweet and kind! We came back the last night frantic and exhausted and he made sure we were taken care of with clarity and a gentle demeanor. I am so thankful, and I truly hope that Gabe is having a wonderful day. ♥️

Awesome hotel. I highly recommend & i will be returning. Staff very helpful. Nice breakfast. Only thing is you need to pay for parking, which could be pricey if staying long.|Their sign out front could be bigger. I was looking for the green sign|They also allow pets for reasonable fee

Absolutely amazing stay! We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel was extremely accommodating. The front desk staff upon check in and out were extremely kind and went out of their way to make our stay special. Location was within perfect walking distance to a couple of bars and nice restaurants. Parking was not free but it is okay! It is worth the payment. I wish I caught the front desk workers name upon check out but she was so sweet. The rooms were clean and the amenities were so nice! Overall I will be coming back whenever I am in Chattanooga!
