La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Lackland

We stayed in this hotel for the Air Force graduation. It’s the perfect hotel to stay at if you want to beat the morning traffic the day of graduation as the hotel is literally right down the road from the base’s entry gates. The rooms were gross, they obviously haven’t really cleaned them but I knew that (based off of other reviews) when booking the room and I prepared in advance. There were small stains on the walls, the curtains, and on the bedsheets, there was trash and a dirty sock left in the closet, the bathroom light didn’t even really work nor did the tv remote, and the shower itself was gross. Luckily, there were no bed bugs or cockroaches in the room (at least in our room, who knows). I would recommend bringing cheap throwaway sheets/blankets/towels and clorox wipes. The hotel is

Zero starts! As several others already posted you get what you pay for here. The beds and pillows are not comfortable and look and feel like they have been around for a long time. The attempt at a room renovation is apparent however it was given the good old landlord upgrade. The tv, TV box and coffee maker are all covered in paint splatter. It was definitely a rushed half attempted job to paint and caulk the room. The blow dryer showed signs that it had caught on fire with charring on the plug. I take it to the front desk upon seeing it but the desk agent seemed indifferent about seeing the burn marks and just offered to get me a new blow dryer. The bathtub looks like somebody tried to paint it and it turned out awful. This location is incredibly rundown and needs a major overhaul. Edit:

Positive: The location wasn’t bad at all. Negative: It was very hard to get around the parking lot cause of how the concrete is all broken and we could never get breakfast cause there was never enough by the time me and my fiancée would get there at 8am

Pleasantly surprised. Based on the low reviews I wasn't expecting much but so far it looks like the property is being fixed up. I was assigned to the add-on building in the back and I must say. So far excellent 🛌 and looks like new floor & fresh paint. I'd recommend staying here in the back building!

0/10 this place deserves no stars! Super disgusting. We got there after driving all night with an our one year at 4:30 am. Weren't able to get into our room until after 5 am. Immediately had problems with key card, had problems closing and locking the door properly. I actually got stuck in the room before leaving. Upon walking into the room you see it's super tiny. The floors are filthy. Visibly dirty and to add to the situation there were dead bugs all around the room. Many huge roaches. The whole room had a smell of urine! The bed felt filthy and didn't even look clean. Upon pulling back sheets you find hair on the bed. And the actual mattress its self was disgusting! We ended up sleeping on top of our blankets we brought from home. Shower was disgusting, outdated, and had obviously not
