La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Reno

Absolute worst experience in motels I've ever had. Needed a place to stay overnight while our baby was in the NICU. Place looked dumpy, no one was at front desk and I had to use some glitchy kiosk with a live customer support. Next we went to park and they had no treatment for snow or ice, wife almost fell down outside the car. Then we get to the room and it stinks of weed and alcohol, the water is foggy, and the floor was dirty. We didnt have time to do anything just then because wife had to go back to NICU to feed the baby, but when we got back and tried to check out, the guy on the kiosk screen at the front desk said since we had been checked in for 4 hours that we couldnt get a refund. Called the corporate and they said since its locally owned, we have to get a refund through the prope

We didn't get a king, No mat to wipe shoe, no hangers to hang clothes. No place for soap at bathtub. Landscape is a mess neer our room tracking dirt, Heater wouldn't shut off. Got to give them credit new flooring, pictures on wall. Mattress was fine.

Avoid at all cost. Paid 6 hrs in advance. Took money out of my account. The front desk after I called multiple times kept laughing and would say 15 or 14 or 13 people in line ahead of me and hang out. I did stay there one time|Before and the front desk once again was horrible to deal with. They set on the phone and talked while I stood at desk waiting. It was a personal call. The front desk on 6-14-25. Didn’t only hang up but heard people in back ground laughing. I had an itinerary number, with confirmation and they refused to take it and said they are busy with something in town.

Even though the room was fairly clean, the motel is a dump and far overcharged for what it looks like. Not sure if this place is undergoing renovations soon or if the last penny is squeezed out before final teardown. Only ice machine working was in lobby. Others have posted "pool" pictures. Also, at check-in the gentleman was multitasking a private call while checking me in. Also way overpriced! I wouldn't have stayed here if it wasn't for the proximity to the airport and me not having a rental car.

Great location for me as I was laying over before a flight. A lot of poor reviews on other platforms such as b.com but there must be new ownership because I had a great stay. The rooms had been recently refurbished and were nice and clean. I had no issues. The only thing to be aware of is the pool is not currently in use but I wasn't planning on using it anyway. It's great value for money and close to the airport so for me I'm happy to overlook this.
