La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Pensacola

I don’t recommend this hotel! I told the staff at 8:30am that the shower/ tub wasn’t draining properly. The lady told me that maintenance would get there around 10:30 and she would have them look at it. Well we get back to the hotel later that night after being ALL DAY! I go to take a shower, the tub still wasn’t working properly. I went the desk again , I asked the lady has anyone been to the room to check out my shower. The lady said she wasn’t aware of any draining problem. I said well how do I suppose to shower. She kept saying ma’am I don’t have any room available right now to move you! I said again how do I suppose to the shower? I’m not standing in there like that!! She turned around and started talking in her language with two other people. She turned back around and said I have a

Tiny ants, filthy floor, food sauce on table surfaces and on the floor; and walls. Next door is an active construction zone; so much for sleeping in; didn't get a relaxing soak in the tub either bc i questioned just how clean it MIGHT be. After a shower I scooted my feet from the shower to the far side of the bed, pictured is how dirty the towel got. Room 124 has been neglected, the furry exhaust fan cover and dusty light fixtures confirm that. On my way out there was numerous homeless people at the exit, all d9wn the side of the street i realized I wasnt in an exactly great area, im surprised nobody tried to mess with my cargo rack on the back of my car hitch.

Right as we got here I went to go check out everything like the room. I checked the fridge, DIRTY. Closet was good. One of the beds were broken and stained on the side. Microwave was dirty. Drawers slightly dirty. Couldn't turn on the bathroom light. Bathroom had BLACK MOLD. THEY DIDNT GIVE THE RIGHT SIZE BEDS!!! Thankfully we got a full refund but don't let the pics fool you-222 room. P.s. luggage cart screws were pretty loose.

The area is definitely busy and nextdoor was under construction (so noisy). I also prefer hotels > motels; so, expect random people to be walking around outside and on the outdoor walkways. There are a couple rooms I noticed in the main building that have hallway/locked up access for patrons only. I thought they were trying to spruce things up with the decor (although one of the lamps didn't work); rooms would be better with overhead lighting. I thought the water pressure was crazy high (reminded me of Kramer on Seinfeld in that one episode about the shower pressure). Feels a little sketchy with abandoned Denny's nextdoor. It's a little annoying trying to get around, as the road access is one way & you have to backtrack or take a U-turn to get to most places in Pensacola. It was alright fo
