La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Nashville South

I stay here pretty often and never have issues or complain. Unfortunately this stay was not so clean. The handicapped shower, which was not needed, still had black stuff on the floor and the Handicapped chair u put in the shower looked like it had **** on it still. Also the info about the hotel says they have a laundry facility on site but the front desk said they didnt have a my any. Now the beds are always clean and comfortable , and fir the most part the whole room is clean and quiet

This hotel was nasty. The beds are super hard, and the one by the door in ours had a slope making it very hard to sleep without waking up stiff. The floor in the bathroom was not swept and had crustys around the edges. The bathroom sink has mold growing in the rim. There was a literal poop stain on the front of the toilet where your legs go when you sit down. The shower had someone’s used complimentary shampoo on it as well. Not sure they even cleaned our room for us other than making the beds and taking out the trash. My brother and I travel a lot and besides staying in hotels with old people smell this was the most disgusting. I really expected better for $93 a night and will never spend my money there again. Not clean, the floors are dirty. . I used a washcloth to dab up some water I spilled and the washcloth was brown after touching the floor. Hair and used q-tip on the bathroom floor. Th||||I Read reviews on TripAdvisor, all complaining about the lack of cleanness. La quint answers each one with, “I’m very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations and that cleanliness and maintenance issues impacted your comfort. Please know that this is not the standard we strive to uphold.” Sop they know its filthy but chose not to do anything about it

Booked through Expedia for a one night stay due to a surgery consultation. Upon arrival, the Inn was desolate which was a red flag. Check in felt a bit unusual. The room was booked for three adults, but only two keys were provided (which is whatever). The front desk asked if I was okay going up stairs. That inquiry made me assume a ground level room was available, and when I requested one, I was advised there was not one available. 🤔 The property layout was confusing and poorly marked. It took us about 10 minutes to locate the room. Once inside, the room appeared generally clean (what I'd expect for the cost) with no visible pest issues. However, the bathroom was problematic. If you want a good night’s sleep, I recommend staying somewhere else. The Red Roof Inn Plus next door is far better than this hotel. The customer service here is poor, and the reception staff and management were very rude. The website says the rooms include a microwave and refrigerator, but my room had neither. There were no fresh towels, and when I walked in there were no lights working in the room. I had to wait about an hour for that to be fixed. They did not change my room and said the hotel was full, so they couldn’t offer another room or provide a refund.
