La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Kansas City Lenexa

Contrary to the other reviews here we actually had a pleasant time our room was spacious and It did look like the pictures and was clean. We spent two days here and the only negative I have to say is that walking down the hallway I smelled weed I believe but I don’t think that hotel has any fault for that. I’m sure it’s the people staying in the hotel rooms. The juice machine for breakfast in the morning was broken and those are the only two negatives. I have to say overall I think the hotel has a good location and is good value for the price.

Positive: "" Negative: Filthy, stuff broken everywhere. Our bathroom door wouldn't close, both doors on our two rooms hit the door jambs. Smell of weed in every corridor and elevator. Garbage everywhere. The picture for the property was either outdated or photoshopped.

The worse room I have ever stayed in. The walls had cracks. There were cracks in the floor where the LVP came apart. The bright spot was the breakfast was as expected.

The hotel is very dated. The rooms are not like the photographs online. My room was unswept, to be honest, not even sure the covers were changed from the previous guest. The floor was not swept. I also found a roach in my room. That was the filthiest thing ever! Also the couch in my suite was stained, torn and looked very questionable! We had a very long drive and were so tired so I just roughed it out. However, I will never book here again.

We booked this room for thanksgiving weekend. Upon arrival we were skeptical of just the way the place smelled and dark by front desk. We went up to our room and immediately were disappointed. Looked around the bed for bedbugs didn’t see any but there were cockroaches actively running around, found broken glass and looked like the bed sheets hadn’t been changed at all. Not clean at all and the couch had stains on it every where. Needless to stay we left immediately and booked another room in a much nicer hotel. They did give me a full refund for the findings. It’s definitely worth paying more money for a clean room. I definitely wouldn’t waste your money or time to stay in this establishment.
