La Quinta by Wyndham Houston Willowbrook Vintage Park

Room was comfortable, but the bed was hard. The carpet had some kind substance in fiber that made it look like paper scraps on the floor. I was not told that I needed to ask for hair dryer from desk, so I did air dry hair. Breakfast room had to be locked and access by room key. Good hot selection available. It was just a place to be close to hospital so not bad. Just concerning that everything has to be locked & controlled.

We travelled around in south and southwest USA for 26 days now. This hotel is the last of 10 hotels we visited and also the best we had. Completely fenced in and safe. Friendly staff at check-inn, a nice clean large room with an extra sofa and side table(s). Good bed ( little hard) , clean bedlinnen. Night was nice and quit. Great indoor pool and hottub with pooltowels provided. |A great breakfast was offered and the coffee I considered Dutch (bold).|You can see they do a lot to keep up the high standard of cleanliness and maintenance.|Congratulations, you really earned a 10/10

We stayed at this same hotel exactly one year ago and had great service but this time was not the same. There is paint everywhere and stains on the carpet. The hot tub and bar are not open. The pool is unusable because it is ice cold. The staff were not friendly. We were called at 6:30pm and told to be quiet. My young son was only walking around the room. We were not being loud. We had to ask for blankets and towels. There were no blankets on the beds and only 2 towels. They gave us an eye roll when asking for towels.

Positive: Room was very clean, and the pool was fun for the kids. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make fresh coffee in the evening for my mother. Super friendly. Negative: Nothing

I wish I could post pictures. The room we were were in had white stains all over the carpet. Assuming paint. The baseboard was missing in the entire room. The beds were as hard as a rock. After being exhausted after our trip down, I fell asleep immediately. Woke up to a pillow with giant brown stains and a black moldy patch. Completely disgusted. Took a shower, the shower walls look like they haven't ever been cleaned. Not only was the room a mess but the hallways and stair cases looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a while either. Missing trim pieces, white stains and stuff on the floors. The staff was friendly and helpful. But after addressing the issues in the room, they wouldn't offer a discount, the best they could do was give me a fresher pillow.
