La Fortuna

So s couple weeks ago the husband and I went on a little babymoon/10th anniversary trip. We visited Dripping Springs and stayed at the lovely La Fortuna. This 11 acre retreat is a wonderful escape from the busy grind of life. Set off the beaten path but located 10-15 minutes from general stores in one direction and historic downtown in the other it is perfectly placed for convenience. We originally booked one of their tipis but were quickly offered alternative accommodation when that didn't work out for us. Lodgewell was fantastic about making the switch to La Casa. This beautiful 3 bedroom/2 bath/full kitchen guest house has all the amenities you could need: a carport situated right out front a grill and a firepit are available nearby, an adorable hammock steps from the house. It you are a camper person, that place is perfect. However, you never want to deep in the forest and never drive a bad road, then you gonna be scared for the first time. I was scared to drive down the road and up. It was a nice place, but when we visited at the time it was too hot. Even though they had fan and min ac still too hot for me. Overall, it is okay to have some experience
