I had been searching for a quiet place to reflect on the 1st anniversary of my Mom's passing. Hill Country Casitas offered tranquility and elegance. The Polly Ann cabin was very nice with all the comfort of home. This is off the beaten path but close enough to get a good bite in Dripping Springs. Enjoy

Hill Country Casitas is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. My boyfriend and I (along with our dog) have spent the past two anniversaries in The Pauline casita, and it truly is such a special place. The casitas are always clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. The outdoor fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere in the winter—you can bundle up with the blankets they provide and completely unwind. The property itself feels secluded and private, yet offers plenty to explore, with open space for hiking, birdwatching, and enjoying nature. The Pavilion is a great bonus too, with lots of board games to enjoy. Ron and Mary have built a very charming retreat that’s perfect for making lasting memories with the people (and pets!) you love.

I just returned from hosting a wellness retreat at Hill Country Casitas. It was truly a 5 star experience. Everyone loved their Casitas. The gathering spaces (at the Retreat and the Pavilion) were perfect for both sit-down classes and movement practices (tai chi and yoga) as well as all of our meals. The service was top notch! Claire was phenomenal with all things related to planning, and Mary was available right away when the inevitable snafu occurred. Claire even hooked us up with her sister who led a guided hike in one of the nearby parks. We all had a wonderful time and I look forward to hosting another retreat at Hill Country Casitas!!

This amazingly beautiful property has something for everyone! I loved the hammocks, watching the sun rise from the pavilion, sunset hot tub time, memorable hikes on the property, and being centrally located to so many state parks. The hosts are so thoughtful. They recommended Westcave tour which was amazing, and I loved the local olive oil and coffee in the casita. I visited the Olive Oil Company for souvenirs and a tour because it was so good! Aside from all the amenities, the casitas were lovely. They were clean, climate control was stellar, and I appreciated the quality linens and soap. You will have a memorable stay!

I absolutely LOVE staying here anytime my husband and I want a little getaway to dripping springs. We have stayed here three times and love it more each time! The casitas are extremely clean and comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need! It’s always so quiet and relaxing. I love taking a walk on the nice little nature trail and the outdoor fireplace is fabulous to sit by in the evenings. Its also a short drive to great wineries, a few distilleries and breweries. It’s one of the few places I’m always sad to leave. Highly highly recommend! It’s my little paradise! Bonus: the resident kitty cat is just precious! She hiked with us on the nature trail and even sat in my lap in the evenings by the fire place. She’s just as sweet as can be!
