Customer Reviews
This was my first time visiting Chicago, and staying at the L7 Hotel made it an absolutely unforgettable experience—largely thanks to the amazing front desk person, Megan. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful from the moment I arrived. The hotel's slogan is "We welcome the curious," and Megan truly put a face to that motto and made it a reality. She took the time to tell me all about the local area and gave some fantastic recommendations. She suggested I take a walk over to Navy Pier, which was absolutely worth it! Even better, she pointed me to The Dearborn restaurant nearby for their fish and chips, mentioning it was so good it actually beat celebrity chef Bobby Flay’s recipe. I made sure to try it, and she was completely right! This was my first time staying with an L7 Hotel,
We loved this hotel!! Stopped in just for the night, but wish we stayed longer. We were immediately greeted by the doorman, Antonio. He was absolutely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Certainly a highlight of the hotel. The rest of the staff was great. And our room awesome. Our toddler loved the multiple huge padded window seats. Great view of the river. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. We will definitely come back again!
Positive: Room and shower were excellent. However, street noise, including incessant beating every evening for hours on a plastic bucket by a street "performer" across the street, made the room uninhabitable until after midnight. Negative: Street noise, including incessant beating on plastic bucket by street "performer" for hours every evening, made the otherwise very nice room uninhabitable, but the management refused to move to to any rooms other than noisy rooms across from elevator.
The hotel has an excellent location , close to everything. We loved the separated rooms with. They were comfortable and spacious. I enjoyes the capuchino machine in the second floor. The rooms are a little dated but I didn't to live there. All the windows at the front of the building will have a view that at this point could feel like under a heavy glow you will know what i mean if you stay there, some people might love it. But again I didn't go to leave there. I recommend the place.
This hotel was amazing. The staff was so sweet. They bought us champagne, a cupcake, and a card for our anniversary. The room was spacious and I loved sitting in the window. It's a bit high up so if you're short be prepared to have to hop up to see but worth it for the amazing view. Perilla is a bit pricey but the food made up for it. I loved having the specialty coffee maker in the lobby that saved us time on having to find a coffee shop. There is also a nice coffee maker in room.
