Knights Inn Somerset

We were on an extended weekend to ski the three local ski areas. Check-in was efficient and friendly. The motel was quiet and the room was, as expected, very basic. It's within a few blocks of many restaurants and fast food. This was our first time at this motel, but not our first time in the friendly city of Somerset. Needless to say, we have a few favorite restaurants. We always enjoy the "cash only" Summit Diner for breakfast or lunch and the Pine Grill Restaurant for dinner. They're right around the corner from the Turkey Hill and cross North Center Avenue from each other. North on PA601/North Center Avenue, Tailgatz Sports Grill, near the Giant Eagle supermarket, is also a favorite.

The best budget option I have found when skiing Seven Springs /Hidden Valley / Laurel Mountain with pets. I love motels for skiing, and this one is perfect; back right up to your door, has fridge and microwave. Family owned and operated, super friendly staff.

Stayed 1 night since it was the cheapest option in the area. Located near the Turnpike and plenty of food options. ||The motel is a bit dated, but overall clean. Bathroom is a bit less well maintained, but nothing unacceptable. The door lock did stop working in the morning, but the manager let me in.||A bit of road noise at night. Nothing fancy, but nothing horrible.

Positive: The front desk person was super friendly and kind. Negative: The room was filthy. It smelled like mold, pet urine, and smoke. It was a little hard to be in it.

Cool Beans! 🫘 Arby's is next door if you want some munchies. Comfortable Bed, Decent Size Television! They got the Microwave and Fridge for your Snacks. Wi-Fi is available password accessible. Safe Area! I always carry something just in case. Turkey Hill is nearby if you need gas. Comfort!
