Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Somerset

I’ve been coming to this location for at least 9 years now. It’s my hotel of choice. Why? The rooms are comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are sanitary, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff…. Every year the staff remember me and my husband and always go above and beyond. Brie at the front desk hadn’t seen me in two years and remembered us. This place feels like home and is the only place I’ll stay when I come to the mountains.

This hotel is by far the cleanest I have ever seen. The front desk staff was so very pleasant and was informative. I had the privilege to meet and speak with the GM Mr.Tom Lear on my visit recently. Was given a tour of the conference room and the kitchen which offers a complimentary breakfast that surpasses any hotel in the area. Quantity along with quality is not held back at this fine establishment. I was informed that they are in the works of securing a stay and play package with the Somerset golf course which is nearby for a break in those corporate meetings. Highly recommend this place as you will not find anything nicer around here.

This place was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. I didn't see any other staff to have interactions with. The breakfast was a fine hotel continental breakfast and good enough to give us something in our bellies before we hit the road. The location was great, as we were traveling to the Flight 93 Memorial and it was just 29 minutes away on lovely country roads. |Check in was easy.|Room was clean.|Breakfast was good.|Parking was available. |Would stay again.|The front desk person said on our way out in the morning, "Have a great day!"

Positive: Staff were friendly. The hotel itself was very nice. Negative: Breakfast options were limited to microwave breakfast sandwiches and some other limited options. Coffee in the lobby was lukewarm.

Recently stayed here on our way to NC. The staff were good, but the room was terrible. The beds were so soft and the pull out couch was uncomfortable. The room next to ours was a smoking room, so when the heat kicked in ours became one as well. I am not sure why the non-smoking and the smoking rooms are place next to each other. This is something to keep in mind in case anyone in your family has asthma or any kind of respiratory issues.
