Knights Inn Muskogee

Quiet motel on the east side of town. Freeway access but without the traffic noise. Mr Ghandi and his family are very friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. No breakfast or coffee bar are offered but the laundry room, ice machine and soda machines are inside near the late check-in window and are well maintained. I stay here several times per year and even though it's further from my event location it's worth the drive for the peace and quiet.

Check in process was slow and problematic. Kids were running around without employees doing their job. However, the bigger issue was concerning the room. There was a bracket for a smoke detector on the ceiling, but no actual smoke detector. This has to be an obvious safety violation. There was also duct tape holding the carpet down by the bathroom area and some very nasty black substances under the toilet seat and in the corners of the room. I emailed management but they didn't seem to care. I would avoid this hotel and pick something better closer to US 69 if at all possible.

I came here thinking I would need to beg to be accommodated with 3 dogs in tow. I was in a car accident off I-40 on my way to NC from AZ and needed a place to put my belongings, my dogs, and to at least try to get some rest. Anyone who has a dog knows that finding a place to sleep for the night quickly becomes a much more strenuous process than traveling without so stopping in a random city in a random state without prior planning is very hit or miss and certainly not ideal. In this case, it should have been a miss. I was lucky enough to have a concerned human being on the other side of the glass at 5am when I spoke with Mr. Ghandi. Not only did they allow me to stay even though their policy is 1 pet per room (like most overnight establishments) but they allowed me to stay a couple days w

It was near by work but wasn't worth the stay. Did not want to touch anything. Everything was dusty. Doors don't open up properly. Looked like nothing was wiped down in months. Not sure if it had mold on the walls or if it was blood.

Had water issues at home so we ran by there to take showers. Thank goodness we weren’t needing to spend the night. I expected old for the price but not filthy. Saw a roach while there but didn’t see the bed bug until we got home and looked at the pictures taken of filth while there. Gave one star because that’s the lowest option available.
