Knights Inn Hadley

Positive: Convenient location and parking. Negative: It was fine for what it is. Rooms need updating. Curtains falling down, door had to be jammed to close. Nothing major, just a series of little things. It felt clean though.

We stayed one night at this location. It seemed like there are many simple things that could be done to improve the experience of the guests staying here. For example:||- Basic room appearance. Lamp shades were ripped/torn, walls had various dents/holes, etc, room was only dimly lit.||- Internet/wifi. The connection was only sporadic, and very slow when it worked, pretty much useless. In this day and age, how hard could it be to provide decent internet connectivity?||- room was clean, but had a strong stale/musty odor.||- Our friends tried to use their AC unit and it didn't work. On opening the windows, they found they had no screens.||- Breakfast offering consisted of several bagels and muffins, wrapped in saran wrap, presumably so they could be reused for the next day's breakfast, and a

Super convenient being 12 minutes down the road from Smith College pretty well priced. Very quiet and clean room with daily maid service. The couple who runs it was very courteous. We would stay again if we need to, BUT the internal hallway is sooooo dirty. I cannot comprehend why they don’t simply run a steam cleaner in the hallway and wipe down the walls. That filth is pretty jarring. Fortunately the room was quite clean. Parking was also super easy.

It's probably the cheapest option around and rightfully so. It's essentially an old motel expect no amenities. There are no toiletries, the bath towels are small, the blankets are rough. Anyone can walk up to your door. The worst offense is the poor quality of the room. There are random holes and dents in the wall. The box spring is probably older than me. Stains can easily be found. There is a strong smell of dust and mold in the hallway. In the lobby is a smell of curry. It's owned and operated by a couple. They are generally friendly. You want to root for them but is what shown in the video excusable? The video was taken at night, imagine what I missed due to poor lightning. Not recommended for families. Good for those passing buy when a penchant for thriftiness.

Oh boy howdy, this was just about the nastiest place I have ever stayed. For $150 a night I can definitely tell you that none of that money is going towards the upkeep of the rooms or even paying a housekeeper. I don't even know where to start. The staff were kind, and the shower water pressure was good, those are about the only positives I have to say. Upon checking in, everything was SO smelly and dirty- the walls windows baseboards mirrors side tables everything is scuffed up, has random mystery drippings, dust, grime, etc. The AC works well but makes inconsistent rattling noises, so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper.
