Kings House Motor Hotel

Very convenient location in Flagstaff. Plenty of parking. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived. Check in process was simple and quick. Very happy with our stay. Note: The train track is very close to the hotel and runs fairly often through the night. You can hear it from the rooms but if you’re a deep sleeper it’s not the end of the world.

King’s House Motor Hotel is an economy based hotel on Route 66, but you would not know that by staying there. The hotel was renovated away from an Econolodge and is now an Independent. Standards are high, rates are reasonable, staff is friendly and the hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Flagstaff. My room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the renovations were nicely done. Amenities are plentiful at an extremely reasonable rate. The only drawback I can think of is that the pool is no longer available at this property.

Positive: Front desk .they are all polite. Negative: Railroad track is close and busy. If they provide ear plug like sope and shampoo, I believe people likes this hotel more.

Clean, inexpensive roadside motel with kind desk staff. It's not particularly fancy or luxurious but we stayed here one night on a road trip along I-40/Route 66 and it was perfect for that. They have a coin-operated laundry machine that worked well for us on our travels and despite being right by the road and the train tracks it wasn't too loud at night. We'd definitely stay here again as a road trip stop over.
