Kimpton Santo San Antonio - Riverwalk by IHG

First, I want to thank Juan H. in valet services. Our overall stay here was absolutely amazing! The customer service, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care from the hotel staff, especially Juan, were truly unmatched. The Kimpton is also incredibly dog-friendly, and the staff shows the same warmth and support toward pets as they do their guests. Juan took the time to get to know and love our pups while making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation with our loved ones. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful experience!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Kimpton Santo! The hotel is beautiful and tucked away in a quiet little cul-de-sac, which made it feel peaceful and relaxing, yet it’s still within walking distance to everything downtown. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. I especially loved the TV and sound system , such a nice touch after a long day. Every employee we encountered was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. We enjoyed drinks and dessert at the rooftop bar and had breakfast at the restaurant the next morning — both were fantastic and really added to the experience. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to my friends, family, and anyone visiting San Antonio. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

Location: The hotel is near the Riverwalk and the historic village, which is convenient. However, ongoing construction completely surrounds the building, making it difficult to access both by car and on foot. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem informed or able to help guests navigate the detours, which was frustrating.||Parking: Parking is absurdly expensive at $60 per day for valet. I found a public parking garage about a five-minute walk away for around $15 per day. It’s technically across the street, but due to construction, you have to walk around the site, which takes extra time.||Room: The room was clean and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The only downside was poor lighting near the mirror, which made it a bit dark.||Food: Dining at the hotel restauran

I travel full time-- and in my 20 years of doing so, this by far has been my best experience. From the moment we pulled in, till leaving every staff member has been absolutely amazing. Rooms, amenities and location is excellent! Alan who manages Valet was very attentive and kind. He always addressed customers by their names as well. It's also pet friendly and you'd never know. So clean and never heard other pets. We brought our pets and they were happy.

First time staying here and we also brought our dog. Our room was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had room service and also dined at Dean's Steakhouse in house. Everything was great. The location of the hotel is very near everything. San Antonio itself is very easy to get around. Definitely our go to place to stay next time we are in town. I want to give a shout out to the Valet guys, they were exceptional, even in very cold conditions they warmed up our car and it was ready to go and very helpful in loading our car.
