Kimpton La Peer Hotel

Had my second stay there this past weekend. Was in town for a friends holiday party in Beverly Hills and another event in WEHO and this is a great area. ||Entire staff is great, especially Carlos at the front desk. Even though it had been three months since my first stay, a couple of the employees remembered me and welcomed me back. ||Good hotel to use the American Express FHR benefit at. Staff is knowledgeable on the program and had no issues using the benefits, unlike some other hotels I have stayed at.||Rooms are very nice. Restaurant has a lot of good choices for breakfast.

Overall, a wonderful experience at Kimpton La Peer. I will echo some sentiments concerning maybe very slightly dated rooms (and by dated, i strictly mean carpet that could possibly use a periodic deep clean), but did not feel this impacted the quality of services rendered. Courtyard facing room was subject to easily transmitted ambient noise at night, but this came with the expectation of staying up late and for vacation alone, so I cant say this was particularly negative. If here on business or with an early itinerary, this might impact quality of experience. Service was overall impeccable, particularly at check in/out, with nods to the staff at Lady Hawk. This hotel has great modern rooms; spacious, great lighting design, discreet sockets everywhere, black out blinds and great beds. I had flight delays due to bad weather, a package that didn’t arrive, and Emanuel at reception couldn’t have been nicer, calmer or more efficient. Nothing was a problem and all was accommodated and found for me. Such a great stay and service.

Service was impeccable at this hotel! Carlos in front reception took care of us when we arrived. It was Valentine’s weekend and we somehow did not make our booking for 2 nights. He was able to make it work so we could stay and enjoy the weekend without moving hotels. He was friendly and always seeing if we needed anything. He was even able to help us find a suitcase to take all our purchases back home to Canada! Josh in the bar was fun and friendly as well. He made sure we were well fed and having a great time. We had a wonderful unfortunate stay at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel. Highly recommend the hotel. I went with my husband and children. The Hotel location was superb with the proximity to great shops and restaurants. The room and bed was very comfortable. The hotel is modern and welcoming at the same time. But it was the superb hospitality of Emanuel and Joshua that made our stay so special. They gave us such great recommendations for places to take the kids and restaurants nearby, that made our stay truly special. This is hospitality at its best, we felt hosted and truly welcome in LA.
