Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia

I had a wonderful stay from start to finish. The customer service stood out immediately — from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive. I especially appreciated the hotel’s digital engagement through the app and text messaging, which made communication quick and seamless throughout my stay. The attached restaurant, Square 1682, is great. It’s cozy and inviting, with bar seating and expert mixologists. Definitely a fun happy hour location. Dinning there, I experienced fast service and the menu offered a nice variety of tasty bites both large and small. The good: the comfort and cleanliness of the room. I found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable and the thermostat was easy enough to adjust so that the temperature was quite steady and didn't vacillate between too hot and too cold as some other hotels I've been in. Also the room was extremely quiet and I didn't hear really anything from anywhere (I was on the 18th floor away from the elevator). So those are the important elements for me. The negatives - the decor looked worn and there were a few places in the room that hadn't seen anyone dust them in about a year (that was behind the end table where I plugged in my charger - full of dust) and the filter in the ceiling above the toilet - also full of dust. Positive: It was clean and the food from Square 1682 was good (if expensive). All of the employees I encountered were polite and helpful, especially one young gentleman who was working room service on one of the nights I stayed. My room had multiple roomy drawers. Negative: I wish room service were 24 hr or at least lasted another few hours. Also, I had a hard time regulating the heat/cool in my room. Getting charged for wifi, especially at more than $12/per day. I'd add a hook somewhere in the bathroom too for a robe, etc.

Called Coco, the manager ahead of time to discuss some reservation options, which she kindly took time to explain the options and try and get me the absolute best deal. I did mention we are coming for our anniversary and she went above and beyond to curate an experience that we will never forget. Not only did she have add-ons to our hotel stay with a beautiful room accommodation, she was also able to provide breakfast and really made our first day at the Kimpton hotel a memorable one. Akira check us in andwas fantastic with telling us the wonderful perks about the hotel and guiding us during our stay here – always meeting us with a smile and helpful information. They are both all stars and some of the best hotel staff we’ve encountered in a long time. We will definitely be returning thanks

I highly recommend this hotel! The amenities they offer is next level. The service is amazing and top notch. I have to give a shoutout to Irina, Akira, and Dermot! They have been so kind and helpful during my stay. They have a coffee bar from 9-10am and a happy hour with complementary wine from 5-7! My hours could be off, but I thought this was such a nice touch. These are the type of things that make you come back, which I definitely will be!
