Kena Wellness Resort, Sedona

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kena Wellness Resort! The location is stunning, right in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon. The cabins are rustic but charming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I loved the fact that I had private access to Oak Creek, and I spent many hours swimming, hiking, and sunbathing. I also enjoyed the many wellness activities that were offered, such as yoga, meditation, and massages. Overall, I had a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience at Kena Wellness Resort, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and tranquil getaway.

We rented a charming cabin from Don Hoel's Cabins and absolutely loved it. Apparently, it is also a wellness center at times. No matter. Our cabin was very well-kept and rustic, which added to its charm. This is the quiet side of Sedona and we very much enjoyed the quiet beauty of Oak Creek Canyon. It is pet friendly and that is a big plus for us and our dog, Harry.

Wow! I didn't realize how much I needed this trip to stay at Kena Wellness Resort! What an astonishing location to book a stress free wellness package and to slow down. I booked the Revitalize 4 night package and loved every minute of it! Breakfast was amazing. Creek Swimming was super blissful. West-Fork Trail was the most gorgeous hike - just a quick 3 minute drive from the resort! Creek side yoga was my favorite part of our retreat and we can't wait to be back! Hands down, the best place to stay in Sedona.

Stopped in to visit the store and tour a cabin. What a cute and charming resort! I understand they’re in the process of transforming the resort into a wellness focused retreat center which is of interest for future retreats! The cabins are simple yet clean and they have access to a beautiful stretch of the creek, which requires crossing the road, but only a short walk. Will definitely be back!

Whenever I travel to Sedona, my itinerary always includes driving along the stunning rock formations of scenic Oak Creek Canyon. On numerous occasions over the years, I’ve either stayed at or visited Don Hoel’s Cabins. During my most recent visit, however, I discovered that the property is now under new ownership and no longer the traditional Don Hoel’s Cabins that once served the community for decades. Although the property is now operating as Kena Wellness Resort, I am very pleased to see the continued success of such an incredibly special and historic landmark. As soon as I stepped into the front doors, staff welcomed me into their freshly renovated lobby and provided me with a tour of the updates on the premises.
