Kauai Palms Hotel

I chose this place for the location (close to the airport) and for the affordable price. It's mostly quiet but can be noisy sometimes because the walls are paper thin. We called about early check in and the lady said there was none but when we came to drop our bags at noon, we were lucky because the room was actually ready. loved that. the towels are super tiny but it was fine. I assumed the twin beds would be next to each other but one was closer to the door and one was close to the bathroom. kind of a weird set up but we only stayed one night so it was fine. front desk staff were friendly and I loved the cute orange cat that hung around. If you're high maintenance and need piece and quiet, then this is NOT the space for you. If you're low key and flexible then you can definitely stay her

Positive: "" Negative: It was just a place to lay your head for the night I would never consider staying there again. It was not even close to what I expected for the amount of money that we paid on top of that I booked a place for five people . The place accommodates 3! What?

1 Star – False Advertising, Rude Staff, Zero Accountability||This place is an absolute nightmare and a masterclass in false advertising.||I booked specifically for a KING BED—clearly stated in my booking confirmation and screenshots (“1 King Bed”). When I arrived, the room I was given did NOT have a king bed. Meanwhile, my friend—who booked separately—did receive a king bed, proving availability was not the issue. There was 2 single beds, one at the door with a fan overhead and one in the opposite side of the room no fan no aircon. We ended up staying at the Sheraton and also stayed at the Beachboy location later during the trip, do yourselves a favor and book there from the start 1000% better than this place. Service and location is top. The front desk lady was very sweet. The outside of the place also has great ambiance. However, the room itself I found very decrepit. Like you were transported to the 1960s, in a bad way. The bed was a marshmallow and the sheets were itchy. The toilet was running every 5 minutes. The bathroom towel rack was broken. And they have only soap and shampoo. They did not have any other amenities. $200 for 1 night and this was very disappointing

We loved our stay at Kauai Palms. We stayed in Cottage H, a two bedroom, 2 bath. It was perfect for our family. It was clean and in close proximity to many great local restaurants (Hamura Saimin and Robs). While we didn’t use it, it also had a private back yard where you could have your morning coffee. Checking in and checking out was easy. Wi-Fi worked well with four adults. AC and fans kept the cottage cool and comfortable. While we were warned of chickens in the area, we actually didn’t hear any chickens in the morning. Perhaps the hotel cat kept them away.
