Do NOT stay here! ||||Resort is only average & for price you can find better elsewhere anyway - just do yourself a favour and avoid. ||||As for the room, we can’t rate that itself as after a long flight we couldn’t even get into the room due to a mistake the owner admitted in writing she had made & was then uncontactable!||||She will not refund but pleads for compassion from you!||.||The hotel tried calling her 3 times to sort with no answer, we left a message and called her cleaner with also no answer.||We waited hours and then booked a room with the hotel itself just to have a bed. We decided due to it being peak season we would book elsewhere to secure a spot as 8hrs later we still had not heard from her & needed somewhere for next few nights.||||Woke to a few text messages claiming s

This is a great location on the ocean. The rooms are very outdated, and this said they are clean and stocked. The staff is wonderful grounds kept up. The 3 star rating is for room conditions and outdated furnishings. We had an ocean front room so we could enjoy our morning coffee listening to the sounds.

I stayed in a private room, it’s not managed by the hotel so the guests have to call that private individual when lining or towels are needed. I called them at least 3 times, I left the messages due to nobody picked the phone, requesting shampoo, soap, towels etc. I never got any response. Also there’s a service fee $94.00 when in reality there’s no service provided, the guest has to take all trash to dispose in the dumpsters. There’s no microwave in the rooms that can be useful, there’s a little coffee maker and a very small fridge. There is no transportation provided from or to the airport which is 5 minutes away. Food in the hotel is very pricey, there are a couple of hot tubs which I enjoyed.

The room (2417) I stayed in was privately owned so it had an outside cleaning service you would have to contact. In general, the room was in need of some upgrade repairs but it was clean. This unit overlooked a roof, so the view wasn't great although you could see some green areas. I did miss it not having a microwave as I would bring back leftovers from the main town. The resorts restaurant is very pricey but the food was pretty good. The private resort beach was a plus for me.

We had a wonderful stay! Unfortunately, no fault to the employees, service was slow in the restaurants due to low staffing? We enjoyed our room with amazing beautiful Ocean/pool views! The only way to go!! Jocelyn was an amazing awesome employee working poolside! She greeted you with a big Aloha smile everyday and she absolutely loved her job! She is an amazing asset to the Resort!! I loved following the path down to the Ocean every evening! We will definitely stay at this Resort on our return visit to Kauai!!
